I have a friend who recieved a 3.5 and 3.7 GPA as a mathematics major for the previous spring and fall semester. He is 21 and has a lot of great extra curriculars (Eagle Scout, NASS, Dale Carnegie, etc.)
My question is, would my friend be competitive for USNA if he were to apply? Would it look great on his application if he applied from a prestigious school like MIT?
