Denied rotc, still have a chance?

Hello! I have applied for an NROTC scholarship as a back up plan, and today I found out that I was denied the scholarship. I know it's unrelated to the academy, but do I still have a shot? It's all I want to do and I feel discouraged since my backup plan failed.
