My DD (possible 2021 candidate) just received an email offering her a CVW. She has applied to NASS and the email clearly states that attending the CVW has no bearing on the NASS application. My questions are these:
She is an athlete and has been contacted by a coach at USNA but has not been recruited. Is this CVW invite customary with an application to NASS or could the coach (or someone else) have spoken to someone in admissions? Do all NASS applicants get offered this?
